On April 18th San Antonio Presidents Distinguished Club 9434 was honored to receive a visit from Paula Tunison, DTM. Paula is a Past International Director of Toastmasters and is currently serving as District Governor for all of District 55. During the meeting our Area H-82 Governor announced that Club 9434 would have 3 Area Governors and one Division Governor on its membership roster after the May 31st elections.

 Not pictured above is our current President and self-designated FEARLESS LEADER. He also is an Area Governor Nominee and barring any major media scandals could be the next Area H-84 Governor. He is shown here in a recent photo op with John Kacher as John received his Competent Leader pin. John is now working on his Advanced Communicator Bronze Award and we hope that he will soon complete the ten speeches required for that milestone.
Elections are coming up and it is time to start thinking about running for office. We need enthusiastic leaders to take us to a third year of being President's Distinguished. This year's goal is in sight and we are sure that Scott Avery, Roz Chavez, Ron Graves and maybe Fred Duhl will receive their Competent Communicator pins by the end of June. We also expect Jack Hathaway to receive his Advanced Communicator Gold. These accomplishments will get us to President's Distinguished status for the second consecutive year.
You join this club to get BETTER and you can only do that by DOING. Bumps on logs are not what we are about. We want you to contribute to the club and thereby contribute to your personal improvement. The best way to do this is to help lead the club to its third year of being a President's Distinguished Club.

Somehow get to I-10 and Wurzbach. Proceed East on Wurzbach until you get to the light at Ironside. Turn South on Ironside and proceed to Colony Drive. Turn right onto Colony Drive, the Taste of China will be on your right. Turn into the parking lot. You should be able to handle it from there. If you can't, we probably don't want you in the club anyway!
